The blaze broke out at the park’s High Anxiety raft attraction the evening of June 15, before the park had opened for its summer season, according to the Vernon Township Fire Department.

The fire remains under investigation by the Vernon police and fire marshal and the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office and has been deemed suspicious, NJHerald reports.

"The damaged portions of High Anxiety have been removed and we are currently discussing our plans for its replacement," vice president of marketing and sales for SNOW Operating, Hugh Reynolds, told the outlet.
